I just decided that, when I do, I will do a water home birth with a midwife. People tell you a lot of things that put fear in you, and make you forget that birth is natural (it's not a medical problem!), and women's bodies are powerful and know how to do this, even a little later in life. Certain conditions may require intervention, and it's a good idea to have backup options available to vaginal birth, but to choose a backup option just in case to me is like committing suicide because you're going to die anyway. But this is a very personal decision for every woman. Taking care of our bodies and keeping a positive attitude I believe helps a lot. Just my two cents.
